Black Sabbath might not be reuniting any time soon, but earlier today we were blessed with an Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi performance to close out the Commonwealth Games in Sabbath’s home town of Birmingham, England.

In a surprise appearance, the Ozzman was joined by Iommi (along with drummer Tommy Clufetos and bassist Adam Wakeman, members of Sabbath's last touring lineup) to blast through the classic "Paranoid," along with a short romp through “Iron Man.”

The appearance, which came at the end of a closing ceremony celebrating the history, culture and music of Birmingham and the West Midlands, marked Ozzy's first public performance since he joined Post Malone and Travis Scott onstage at American Music Awards in 2019.

And for more Ozzy ‘n’ Tony, check out the recently-released “Degradation Rules,” from Osbourne’s forthcoming album, Patient Number 9. You can preorder it from our shop now.
