Iron EagleX Secures $430M USSOCOM Award for Technical Development Support - GovCon Wire

Iron EagleX, a veteran-owned defense contractor, has secured a potential 10-year, $430 million other transaction agreement to provide technical development support services to U.S. Special Operations Command.

The award covers products, services, research and development and production support to help ensure that USSOCOM’s software and tools meet interoperability and operational requirements, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

USSOCOM has a decade to procure services under the OTA. The command is obligating $3.9 million in fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance and research, development, test and evaluation funding at the time of award.

Tampa, Florida-headquartered Iron EagleX is led by former Special Operations Forces combat veterans and offers support and services to U.S. government customers in areas of cybersecurity, mission readiness, application development and data science.
