Before you can build the most potent vehicle the apocalypse has ever seen, you have to nab yourself one first. There are multiple ways you can procure a combat vehicle in Metal Max.
Once you've acquired a vehicle, it's essential to understand its stats. After all, these qualities affect how your vehicle operates and what it can do. So here is the information you can gather from a vehicle's details:
Of course, enhancing your combat vehicle does not come cheap. Most modifications to your vehicle require a fee in gold. Furthermore, if you wish to upgrade an equipped weapon or manufacture a new one, you'll need to gather materials on the field.

There are multiple resources for getting weapons in Metal Max. When you're out on the field, you can find weapons in crates, debris, and with your metal detector. Otherwise, your primary source of weaponry is the Sortie. We've talked about the Sortie extensively in the past. But here's a quick breakthrough of what each section has to offer:
Equipping parts and weapons for your vehicle begins in the Sortie. First, go to the Vehicle Modification menu to open your mounts and designate them for cannons, machine guns, or S-E weapons. Similarly, opening vehicle sockets enables them to get equipped with Trait Chips.
You can equip new weapons and engines from the Sortie Counter or Pause Menu. Understand that any part you add or remove from your vehicle will affect its overall stats. Most importantly, adding to your gross weight decreases your vehicle's SP and vice versa.
Did you know you can paint your weapons? Check the bottom-left tab in the equipment menu to open the Paint menu, which allows you to change the color of your vehicle chassis and each weapon.
