A headphone wire was found in the bladder of an Indonesian man
The 34-year-old Indonesian man insert an 80cm-long cable down his urethra, which became caught after being pushed too deep.
After his masturbation deed dramatically failed, a man had an earphone wire to be removed from his bladder.
He told surgeons that he pushed the wire into his penis for sexual pleasure and enjoyment.’ He further admitted to use the masturbation technique up to five times a week.
The unidentified man went to his local hospital’s emergency department after experiencing stomach aches while urinating.
He then informed doctors at Dr Soetmo General-Academic Hospital in Surbaya of his decision to insert the wire.
Medics described it as ‘lodged in the bladder’ in the journal Radiology Case Reports.
They gave him an X-ray to see how far into his body it had penetrated and how much damage it had caused. It was ‘clearly visible and easily recognised.’
The wire, which was around 3mm broad, was coiled but had not yet adhered to his bladder wall, which was lucky for him.
If it had become lodged, urologists believe it could have produced a hole that would have necessitated surgery to correct.
Doctors used forceps to extract it, but it’s unclear whether any of the wire was left hanging to cling onto.
The man stayed in the hospital overnight to determine if he required any additional treatment. He was released the next day.
It was diagnosed as a textbook example of polyembolokoilamania, or the act of introducing foreign bodies into orifices such as the rectum and vagina.
They stated that the patient had “no obvious psychotic behaviours and was mentally well.”
Sounding is the insertion of items into the opening of the penis for sexual pleasure, which poses a number of hazards.
